We are pleased to announce that Reeya Dalpati has stepped into the role of Vice-Chair of the YELSC. With Reeya’s transition into this role, we are now inviting expressions of interest for the position of Secretary. This is a great opportunity for an emerging leader to contribute to the committee’s work and gain hands-on leadership experience within the transit industry.

Secretary responsibilities include:

Supporting the administrative work of the sub-committee, including meeting coordination, minute-taking, presentation preparation, and member onboarding; attending all monthly YELSC meetings, including general committee and stream lead meetings; and contributing ideas, perspectives, and input on YELSC initiatives and projects.

Time commitment:

Approximately three to four hours per month, varying throughout the year. Candidates should be able to commit to the role for a minimum of one year, through to the next Young Leaders Summit in 2027.

How to apply:

Interested members are invited to submit a brief statement of interest outlining their background, any relevant experience, and why they would like to serve as Secretary. Submissions should be sent to Patrick Yutiga (patrick.yutiga@ttc.ca) and Reeya Dalpati (reeya@ltrt.ca) by January 26.
