I just want to know about the structure of your scheduling group.
To give a bit of context, Winnipeg Transit is technically the City of Winnipeg Department of Transit. In other words, even though we have our own branding, we are not an independent entity. We are just another City department.
Within Transit, every business group is called a Division. I lead the Service Development division (i.e. planning and schedules), and the other divisions are things like Operations, Plant & Equipment, IT, HR, Finance, Client Services, and Asset Management. Each division has branches, so mine are the Planning branch and the Schedules branch.
This leads me to my actual question… the head of the Schedules branch here is called the Superintendent of Schedules, which is a really outdated term. What do you call it in your system? Senior Transit Scheduler? Lead Transit Scheduler?
